Capital 1 billion KRW
Established November 22, 2012

Established as a joint venture with a local management company, with the aim of offering management services in the growing South Korean rental housing market

Woori & Leo PMC Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Woori Housing Operation and Management Company, a major company in South Korea. With one- and two-people households on the increase, and more and more landlords switching from chonse* to wolse* contracts along with a decline in real estate prices, we made entry to the South Korean rental housing market ahead of others, to tap into anticipated growth in the future. The aim is to provide structured rental management services, something that is still relatively uncommon in South Korea at the moment.

*Chonse: Under a chonse contract, the tenant pays a large deposit to the landlord instead of paying monthly rent. The full deposit is then returned when the tenant vacates the property. *Wolse: Wolse contracts are similar to rental contracts in Japan, whereby the tenant pays a security deposit and monthly rent. The security deposit is then returned when the tenant vacates the property.
